It is an attempt to create a honest, transparent and factual based encyclopedia for online gambling.

The team behind the initiative believes the online gambling industry - and especially the affiliate marketing arm - is rife with low effort, bad and outright false information. We could just create another affiliate gambling website that claims we are 100% transparent and honest, but we believe another approach is warranted. We hope that over time we can prove that our content and claims can all be backed by facts, and not just vacuous claims.

By following in the footsteps of [Wikipedia.com](https://wikipedia.com). We will allow anyone to comment and edit on our website, and at the same time give transparency on all edits and changes being done on the site.

Even though we will try to make money of the intent of our users, we will never take money to change our recommendations or amend text. This means any recommendations or toplists created on the site will be an effort made my the community, and not by whoever pays us the most money. We will however have some sections we can sell ad space to gambling sites, but if we do that, it will be excplicitly hightlighted that it is paid for.

I guess you just need to do what we preach to ourselves: do your own research. We aim to source anything we claim on our website, and hopefully over time we can build our trust to become a name associated with just that. I know we are the new guys on the block, but we really do believe that there is a place for a product like this in this particular space.
